ODEON Cinemas in Leicester Square has changed its name to 'LEODEON' ahead of this Sunday's Oscars ceremony, to show its support for Leonard DiCaprio, who has been nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role for The Revenant.

The star has been nominated for six Academy Awards over the years for his films including The Aviator, Blood Diamond and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, but is yet to win.

DiCaprio won his first BAFTA last weekend for Best Actor for The Revenant and hopes are high that after this Sunday, he will finally have an Oscar under his belt too.

To make the pun clear, the ‘Leo’ part is in gold, while ODEON even hoisted a huge model of an Academy Award up onto their wall to reiterate the point. 'LEODEON' will remain until after the Oscars ceremony on Sunday 28 February.
