    Job purpose/overview
    To create arguments that champion the power of cinema as well as work closely with internal and external partners to help advertisers and agencies understand the real value that cinema delivers for brands within a cross-media plan. You will work on larger strategic pieces with the senior members of the team as well as running and managing your own research. Day to day you will use both primary and secondary resources to answer client briefs and provide arguments that help drive revenue for DCM.

    Responsibilities
    Lead integration of primary datasets into external channel planning systems, allowing cinema to effectively sit alongside other AV media.
    Work closely in partnership with DCM sales team to create compelling sales stories using industry research tools such as IPA Touchpoints, Ad Dynamix and TGI.
    Aid Research Manager in commissioning primary research projects such as FAME (Cinema Advertising Associations quant audience insight piece), Building Box Office Brands in partnership with Millward Brown and econometrics pieces.
    Work alongside Head of Insight, and our analytics partners, to understand ROI drivers and performance of cinema.
    Commission and manage advertising tracking studies, ensuring value and credibility.
    Train internal employees on industry tools and systems.
    Utilise statistical/modelling skills to analyse industry datasets in new and exciting ways that help promote and plan cinema.
    Work with our Marketing and Design teams to bring insight to life.
    Champion the DCM insight function both internally and externally.

    Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent. In a subject with a research based module.
  • Business Director - Media Independents

    You are

    Understanding and experience in the media market and sales operations. A desire to deliver exceptional service and results for advertisers and agencies. A passion for Cinema and Film.
    You will be
    Driving revenue within an agency group and developing and motivating a sales team.

    You to run your group like it was your own business; including writing and developing the strategy, delivering target, recruiting and managing your team, working to expenses and overhead budgets and developing new business opportunities. Everyone from the receptionist to the CEO in your agencies to know your face and be pleased to see you.

    Main Responsibilities
    Deliver revenue targets within all DCM revenue streams
    Manage the delivery of each deal (including specific KPI’s)
    Provide opportunities to build new/incremental revenue
    Input to and implement the trading/barter strategy across your agency groups
    Develop business plans for your groups, utilising relevant departments to identify clear objectives and timeframes
    Apply a client contact strategy for your group
    Be the principle DCM point of contact for at Head of Investment, Planning, Strategy and Sponsorship levels across your agency groups
    Ensure all DCM communications are conveyed
    Drive internal relationships and business efficiencies, specifically with Marketing, Insight and Operations
    Ensure business group is run accurately to all DCM’s working practices including forecasts, reconciliations, production, Cognos etc.
    Work with HR to manage all team recruitment and training needs
