The Favourite led the way at this year’s British Independent Film Awards (BIFA), picking up a record 10 awards wins. Yorgos Lanthimos’ black comedy picked up Best Director, Best British Independent Film and Best Screenplay, with star Olivia Colman taking home Best Actress and Rachel Weisz winning best Supporting Actress.
