Star Wars is back and all set to blow the box office apart once again in what is the biggest cultural event this Christmas.

In just one month’s time, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past.

As reported by Variety, the film has been dominating social media chatter, with over 100,000 new conversations last week alone thanks to interviews with cast members and filmmakers. Star Wars: The Last Jedi has pulled in nearly 4m new conversations with a month to go until its release in cinemas.

Tickets also went on sale over two months out from release, and the film is already breaking records as fans across the country flood cinema chains’ ticket websites in a rush to secure their seat to what is set to be the biggest film of the year.

The new film is directed by Rian Johnson and stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver and Carrie Fisher.

It was also announced earlier this month that Star Wars will get another film trilogy. It will be an entirely new saga with Director Rian Johnson entrusted by Lucasfilm to lead the project.
