Screen International and the Independent Cinema Office have teamed up to give exhibitors the opportunity to hear from experts in independent exhibition on what's going to make the sector thrive in the future. A free event, the session will be held at Everyman Screen on the Green on Thursday 20 October - the day of the Screen Awards - and will feature panels, keynotes and Q&As on a range of topics.
The agenda includes:
- Independent cinema in a post-Brexit world: what are the challenges for growth in the next five years?
- Programming: How can cinemas take risk with their programming while making sure they are financially sustainable?
- Technology: Hear from the leading minds in the field about the new developments that will enhance the big screen experience and grow audiences using new insights
- Plus two major industry keynotes to be announced
