The weekend’s DCM admissions were a new post-lockdown high, up 235% from last weekend. Looking at individual films, for the first time a new release was the busiest film of the weekend - Russell Crowe’s Unhinged, with Onward the second busiest film. Read more
Warner Bros. has announced its new release strategy for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet. In an official statement the studio said: “Today, Warner Bros. announced that Tenet will open in over 70 countries worldwide starting on 26 August. Major territories will include the UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia and Spain. Read more
We’ve just received results from the fourth weekend since cinemas were able to re-open in England and for the fourth consecutive weekend, admissions were up. In fact across the cinemas open on the DCM estate admissions were up a healthy 12% on the previous weekend. Read more
