Dwayne Johnson confirmed himself as a bona fide box office leading man as San Andreas kicked off with a terrific £4.6m, which included £741k from previews. Last year’s Dwayne Johnson star vehicle, Hercules, finished its entire run with £5.5m, so this is a great result. Read more
