Advertising Week Europe comes to London for the seventh consecutive year this month and, as a founding partner of the festival, Digital Cinema Media (DCM) will take part once again with a series of events throughout the week at one of our flagship cinemas, Picturehouse Central.

There’ll be a chance to hear from our CEO, Karen Stacey, at the ‘Who Run The World?’ [anel discussion, a chance to hear from our Marketing & Insight Director at The Drum Arms Awards panel, and an exclusive screening of Marvel Studios’ first blockbuster of 2019, Captain Marvel.

Who Run The World?

Tuesday 19 March, 1:15 PM, Impact Makers Stage, Picturehouse Central

Women across the industry come together on this panel to talk roses and thorns of their careers, their greatest triumphs and failures, and get the audience fired up and inspired to walk out knowing what it feels like to be bad-ass leader in this business. 

Joining DCM’s CEO Karen Stacey is Rebecca Holman, Lifestyle Editorial Director of Bauer Media, Abbie Scott, Professional Rugby Player, Seema Jaswal, TV and Radio Presenter, Nicola Kemp, Trends Editor of Campaign, and Larissa Vince, Managing Director of Saatchi & Saatchi London.

The Drum Arms Awards Panel

This session will be the ultimate how-to guide for awards entries, discussing everything from creating an award-winning submission to advice for failure and common errors.

Danielle Gibson, The Drum’s Commercial writer, will be hosting the panel featuring, DCM’s Marketing & Insight Director Zoe Jones, Tiffany St James, Transmute, Founder, Ross Sleight, Somo Global, Chief Strategy Officer, Nick Reid, Adobe, Global Head of Agency Partnerships, and Trevor Chambers, Fear No Space, Creative Partner.

DCM Film Club presents Captain Marvel

Digital Cinema Media (DCM) is excited to host the official movie night at Advertising Week Europe for the seventh year running, with an exclusive screening of Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel. Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the centre of the maelstrom.
