DCM Studios was awarded Commercial Team of the Year at the 2026 Campaign Media Awards.
The awards ceremony took place on Thursday 30 April at the London Hilton Park Lane hotel.
In 2025, DCM Studios' revenue was up 40% year-on-year, becoming a driving force behind Digital Cinema Media’s commercial success. The seven-person creative team has transformed cinema into one of media’s most dynamic and profitable platforms, combining deep expertise of the medium with high-level creative ambition.
Rather than one-off stunts, DCM Studios creates scalable, enduring opportunities. Its “Turn Your Phone Off” (TYPO) sponsorship has evolved into one of cinema’s most sought-after ad spaces, attracting repeat partners such as Google Pixel, alongside Paramount, Netflix, Specsavers, Vodafone and Giffgaff. And major brands like KIA, Sky Glass and BAFTA return for multi-year campaigns.
Innovation sits at the heart of its output. In 2025 alone, DCM Studios introduced cinema-first executions including accessible anamorphic 3D creative for The RAF, immersive 4DX experiences with bespoke scent mapping for Lynx, and full-scale takeovers for brands such as MINI. Part sales engine, part strategy hub, part creative agency, DCM Studios drives profit through innovation - building enduring brand partnerships while redefining what cinema advertising can achieve.
Delivering £10.7m in 2025, the team made up 17% of DCM’s total revenue and helped DCM increase its revenue by 7%. The Studios team also played a huge role in building DCM’s brand, with 42% of its PR coverage coming from the Studios team projects that year.
Shortlisted alongside DCM Studios for Commercial Team of the Year were Acast, Guardian Advertising, JCDecaux UK, Sky Media and The Telegraph.
