It’s been an incredible year in cinema.

Minecraft’s meme magic turned Gen-Z into flocks of Chicken Jockey enthusiasts, Bridget Jones brought closure to Britain’s much-loved rom-com, and Wicked delivered goodness through music to fans across the country.

Big Screen Millions

Millions watched the biggest films on the biggest screen this year. A Minecraft Movie came in first with 5.6m DCM admissions, followed by Lilo & Stitch with 3.8m and Wicked: For Good coming in third with 3.5m.

The Power of Context

We unveiled the latest edition of our industry-leading Building Box Office Brands series: ‘Maximising price: The role of media’ at DCM Upfronts 2025, demonstrating the contextual power of cinema. We were joined by an illustrious panel featuring Unilever, Three and Barclays UK.

DCM's Growing Cinema Estate

The UK’s fastest growing cinema chain, Omniplex Cinema Group, joined DCM’s estate to increase our market share to 85%. Oxford Street’s luxurious The Cinema At Selfridges also joined our growing roster of indies.
