Next Weekend

Despicable Me 2
was the biggest film in the UK in 2013. Why? Because of the Minions, who this year take centre stage. Everyone loves the Minions and you can be certain theatres up and down the country will be full with families eager to see how the villainous sidekicks came to be so despicable.

Across The Pond

Jurassic World held on to the top spot, adding a further $106.6m and it has now grossed a huge $402.8m. Inside Out was in second but its total of $90.4 was the highest ever for an original property (non-sequel and non-sourced work), overtaking Avatar's $77m.
