The major chains are working to convert all screens to digital by the end of 2012. Digital screens bring many benefits to advertisers including:
- Reduced production cost as no need to convert adverts into 35mm or 70 mm and incentives to brands new to cinema advertising.
- Shorter lead times reduced from 4 weeks to 2 weeks allowing copy changes during a campaign.
- Impacts are monitored using actual weekly admissions data provided by Nielsen EDI.
- Digital Packages are available by nationally or by TV region.
