Screen Awards 2015 shortlist revealed

The shortlist for the 2015 Screen Awards has been announced by Screen International. Back for a sixth year, the Screen Awards celebrate the very best of marketing, distribution and exhibition in the film industry.

Digital Cinema Media's (DCM) Marketing Manager, Anastasia Takis, has been shortlisted in the prestigious Rising Star category, while DCM Exhibitors, Genesis Cinema, Glasgow Film Theatre and Showroom Cinema have been shortlisted for the 'Cinema of the Year - from a company with 24 screens of under' category. Cineworld Cinemas – Feltham, Middlesex, Odeon - Dorchester, Picturehouse – Hackney and Vue Entertainment – Shepherds Bush are all shortlisted for the ‘Cinema of the Year -  from a company with 25 screens or over’ category.

DCM is also proud to again sponsor the Brand Partnership of the Year category, a category which aims to further acknowledge the significance of a brand’s involvement with film and recognise top brand-film partnerships from the year. This year's nominees are:

•    Annie & Royal Canin, Brand & Deliver and Sony Pictures UK
•    Home and Hamptons International, Twentieth Century Fox
•    Minions and Green Giant, Brand Culture
•    Still Alice and Alzheimer’s Society, Curzon Artifical Eye
•    The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Marks and Spencer, Twentieth Century Fox and Pearl and Dean
•    The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water and British Red Cross, Lime Communications

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony hosted by Edith Bowman on 22 October at The Brewery in London.
