#FORCEFRIDAY, the global event that sees merchandise for the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie hits shelves, is almost upon us. 

There will be books, games, clothes, action figures and women’s cosmetics going on sale, with movie marathons, parties and impromptu lightsabre fights taking place across the world. And, for one day only, Digital Cinema Media (DCM) is sending Stormtroopers across London in celebration of this momentous occasion and the upcoming release of the most anticipated film of the year.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is all everyone is going to be talking about this Christmas, with an estimated 7m DCM admissions forecast for the film. JJ. Abrams will bring his kinetic, thrilling visual style, and in a master stroke of casting, the main original cast members will be back in the fight against evil of the dark side. The plot is still relatively unknown, but the first two teaser trailers have already broken records for viewing figures.
