With each new Nicolas Cage film, it’s always fun to guess which Nicolas Cage is going to feature; the wild-eyed, intense, crazy Cage (Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, Drive Angry) or the wild-eyed, yet more sedate Cage (Kick-Ass, Knowing). Justice features the second type.

It’s a revenge thriller with a twist; with Will Gerard (Cage) enlisting the help of a vigilante group after his wife (January Jones) is brutally attacked and raped. The group kill her attacker but events become more complicated six months later when they contact Gerard again and begin to blackmail him into carrying out further vigilantism ‘justice’ on their behalf.
